You Are Tops!
Thank you for rescuing and restoring our Noval Morrisseau original acrylic painting from being stuck to the frame and glass due to incorrect framing. The hours you put in to painstakingly remove the work on such fragile paper card is remarkable! Your choice of framing and the meticulous care you took to complete this project are ample evidence of the love you have for your work.
Other experts deemed it irretrievable, but we had full confidence in you. We knew your work from other works of art that we had entrusted to your care. Always with spectacular results! You are tops! We highly recommend you to anyone needing art restoration of any kind.

A New Family Heirloom
" Dear Hanna, thank you for the beautiful restoration on the painting. You took a decaying painting stored behind a furnace and turned it into a family heirloom. "
A Portrait in New Light
" I am thrilled with you work you did on our portraits. After your wonderful cleaning they look like new pictures – the colour’s so fresh and bright. I’m also extremely pleased with your restoration of the round frame. If circumstances arise I would definitely recommend you to anyone who might require your services. "
Thank you, Elizabeth M.
Memories Pieced Together
" I now have the small bronze statue… I can’t tell you how pleased I am to see it all together again and standing on its own. I am sorry that I didn’t know about you sooner. "
Thank you very much.
A Wedding Gift Restored
" Thank you so very much for the very skilled and extremely detailed repairs to our Madonna. My husband, Stephen was speechless as he examined her on Christmas Day. He as overwhelmed with joy. Stephen told me that the Madonna was a wedding gift to his parents from his father’s mother from the Netherlands – to bless his home and marriage. Thank you, from both of us, for restoring her beauty. "
Sincerely, Christine W.
Recovered Childhood Heirloom
" Dear Ms. Franciscy
You have done a beautiful job of restoring our heirloom child’s rocking chair to the condition it must have been in when Alexander Graham Bell’s parents, Professor and Mrs. Alexander Melville Bell gave it to my great-grandfather, Rev. Thomas Henderson and his much younger second wife, Catherine around 1870. My grandmother and her sisters rocked on it and later my mother… "
Paintings to Admire
" Dear Hanna, We have spent the entire summer moving in and finally have all the pictures hung – the better to admire the outstanding restoration work you did for me last spring. How you managed to repair scorched oil paintings and frames spoiled by enormous cracks is beyond me. Your patience and skill have brought my family great happiness & I only wish my parents were alive to see how beautifully you restored the oil painting they left me. I am delighted. Thank you. "
A Restored Family Tradition
" Dear Hanna, I wanted to write you a short note to say how much I appreciated your efforts to clean and fix my painting. You did a fantastic job. I have it on the wall in my family room and it looks beautiful. This painting had been in my family for years and when it became damaged I was just beside myself. I can’t thank you enough for saving my precious picture. This picture has great sentimental value and I will think of you when I look at it each day. I am thrilled that now I can keep this in my family for many more years to come. "
Sincerely, Marla S.
" Dear Hannah, Thank you so much for the restoration on the pastel tinted photograph of my grandmother and her siblings taken about 1890. You have restored the pastel to our satisfaction, and the ornate frame is now very attractive, but still looks like an antique. A job well done! "
Sincerely, R. E. H.
The Gift of “New Life”
" To Whom It May Concern; Newman Galleries has been in business for 15 years and has had subsidiary retail locations in Markham, North York and Yorkville. Throughout this time frame we have had many challenging restorative projects from our clients. Without any hesitation we immediately turn to Hanna Franciscy.
Faced with the same reality continuously that an aging painting has been damaged or an heirloom has been broken, she begins each challenge with the most professional and analytical approach.
Her dedication to her craft is uncompromising. Her inate talent and skilled hands will provide you with the best quality workmanship at the most reasonable prices. There isn’t any “magic” involved in the beauty of restoration, it is just Hanna’s artistry, dexterity, illusion and expertise that transforms damaged works of art. While always striving for perfection, she successfully completes another work in progress to be enjoyed by future generations. Always giving “new life”. I recommend her work whole-heartedly… "

A Titanic Treasure
" I would like to recommend Mrs. Franciscy of Franciscy Art Restorations.
After the death of my grandmother, I found an original document pertaining to my great-grandfather being “Lost at Sea” while on board the Titanic in 1918. Since it had just been folded and filed with her other papers, it was in need of restoration before being framed. Mrs. Franciscy did a lovely job of cleaning, fixing and framing it at a very reasonable cost. It now hangs in my home, a real conversation piece, especially due to the ongoing fascination with artifacts regarding the Titanic disaster.
Mrs. Franciscy has also worked on a 100 year photo which is of great sentimental value to me. It too has been lovingly restored and framed. Each piece of art is given expert workmanship. Each time I visit her studio, Mrs. Franciscy’s pleasant manner and knowledge make it a pleasure doing business with her.
I would not hesitate to take my future pieces to Franciscy Art Restoration for all my restoration and framing needs. "
Yours very truly, Leslie D.

Creative and Expert Touch
Thank you so very much for the truly marvellous restoration you did on my painting. Your creative and expert touch brought this piece - one I'd given up on ever enjoying again - back to life. Indeed, in its renewed - reborn state, it looks much lovelier than it did originally, having been cleaned, and in its handsome new frame.
Although it is not a renowed or famous work (although the artist has other work in the National Gallery of Canada's collection) it has great personal value for me, as it was painted in the province I once called home.
With admiration and fondness,
